Newhaven Harbour

We went mackerel fishing in the harbour at Newhaven today.

What a beautiful situation for sitting wasting hours in the sun...well not wasting really, not when there were fish being caught and gutted, kids and family to laugh with in the sun, jelly fish to spot and crazy brave Newhaven kids leaping off the harbour walls into the beautiful blue sea below.

Not a thing was landed between our two rods although two crabs had to leap for their lives and a mackerel had a nifty escape.

Who cares, we had fun and I can thoroughly recommend it!
