Robin in the rain

The morning has largely been taken up with the planning for my next trip away.  But then, once again it's not a great day for being outside, even though it is very mild.  

This afternoon is going to be used to cook a venison bourguignon with Eve's pudding for desert - it means largely being locked in the kitchen for the rest of the day, but the end results should be very enjoyable, and Cathy likes a nice Eve's pudding...
