First full day home post surgery...

...and yes, I blipped my dinner! :-))

I waited to see if a better blip would present itself but nope!  I only ate half as my appetite still isn't great (there's a side salad just out of shot :-) but it's better than nothing :-)

Nothing much to report other than I had another good day.  Woke at 8am and was going to get showered but felt so tired so listened to my body and slept till almost midday and felt much better for it.

Showered and dressed with just a little help from D fetching and carrying things.  The swelling in my hands has gone down so was able to get my rings back on.  Another step towards feeling human again. 

Downstairs in time for lunch.  Half a roast beef sandwich, which tasted delicious! And a coffee, which also tasted delicious. 

Stayed in my wheels for a while then got my feet up and had a little snooze.  Dinner then snoozed again while watching tv.  

I am completely dumfounded by how little pain I am in.  Can't even call it pain, just some tightness and discomfort when I move in certain ways, so I don't move in those ways.  

In bed by 11pm and out like a light!
