Yes, it is cheese this time @thechimp! 
In fact it was you who first brought this place to my attention I believe.

The other main event of the trip was a much anticipated lunch at The Cheese Barge. It's exactly that, a cheese restaurant on a Barge near Paddington. 

Oh my, it really didn't disappoint, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

We had curried curds (absolute winner!!!), Stilton and walnut croquettes, a tartiflette and a side of buttery potatoes. We were stuffed but it didn't stop us ordering a small wedge of blue cheese so we could finish it off with a port. Will definitely be making a return visit.

Such a fabulous trip, and the first time I've been to London purely for pleasure in about 30 years (although many many business trips in between). 

Fun as it was, I'm still very happy to be back home and in my own bed again :)  Although very annoying to find my market on Sunday has been cancelled due to the wind (again) :(
