Settlers Nelson

On the way home stopped at the wharf. Here is a photo of the the "Settlers memorial" Along the fronted to the harbor is a wall with the names of the early ships starting with two ships both arriving with the first settlers names and occupations. The Will Watch and the Whitby arriving 4/11/1841, I'm certain these weren't the first as Abel Tasman was the first European to discover N.Z. and our bay is named after him.
