Blowing in the Wind
When I got up this morning, my energy level seemed higher. Grabbed a nice shower, cleaned the bedroom, put away dishes and then realized I felt awful. Darn it! We did a load of laundry after lunch but that has been it. The wind blew steadily all day; the wind chimes rang out as well. We have an assortment, mostly gifts from my children or my sister. I enjoy sitting on the porch watching them when weather permits. The little hummer on the left is one of my favorites. Today, I was out only long enough to get the shot of them blowing around. The live photo presents a better view of what’s really happening. The trees were even rocking back and forth. Hubby says we have a ton of branches to pick up. My sister and BIL stopped by to get my shower gift for our great niece’s baby shower. Sure hate missing it. Hubby took the package out to their car so they wouldn’t be exposed to my germs. He filled the feeders and birdbaths. He walked to the mail box this afternoon. Otherwise, he’s not been out. The temps are higher than earlier in the week but the wind makes it seem colder. I’ve tried to look at journals and read my Kindle but haven’t been real successful - sinus pressure is driving me nuts. Just call me Wendy Whiner. Thankfully, we have more stew for dinner. Here’s looking towards tomorrow. Wishing you a healthy, fun weekend. Stay safe. Thanks for dropping by. “I hear the wind among the trees, Playing the celestial symphonies; I see the branches downward bent, Like keys of some great instrument.” ~ Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
