First Flower
My daughter and I visited MrQ at the hospital in her lunch hour. A very different story today. He was so distressed, angry, confused, frightened and very wheezy. He is not allowed to eat or drink anything but tried to get my daughter to give him some water. His lips and mouth were terribly dry. We were given a little sponge to dip into water to moisten his mouth and he tried to eat it. He asked for an apple. That really got to me as his mother, a greengrocer, always used to say, Have apple.
We had an in-depth conversation with a doctor, they are trying everything to help him. He had physiotherapy to try to clear his lungs and a period on a nebuliser while we were there.
I went to M&S as usual this afternoon and it upset me that my trolley looked so pathetic because I didn't buy all the delicacies that I get for him every week.
I took a pic of a pigeon at the hospital but it was out of focus. The first flower has come out on the sucker of the dead flowering cherry.
