Frog invasion

What a most enjoyable day I have had, even though several hours without my boys, Bertie and Nick. But I came back to them for a fun-filled frolicking Friday evening.
Bertie and I started off with a rather breezy walk with rain drops like mini bullets being blown straight into our faces. We cut the walk a little short and it was a lot more comfortable when we turned our backs on the wind.
It was a quick turnaround to gather my half-finished sock and head off to our new craft group, scooping up blipper Wanderers13 on the way. What a special couple of hours we spent, crafting and chatting, offering and receiving advice where it was requested. There was quite a lot of fun and laughter between times.
I had a quick visit back home for a bit of lunch before heading off to Scottish country dancing. I had been threatening to try this for a while and finally I made it. What fun we had. There was a perfect group of eight plus one so we took turns sitting out, allowing our leader J to participate. I haven’t done this seriously for fifty years (Really, where did that time go!!!) but it was amazing how my feet remembered the steps, even though my memory for the detail failed me from time to time. It was a great workout!
