Blue Sky

Last working day of my short working week. We couldn’t believe how mild it was this morning. We were roasting by the time we got to the bus stop. The mildness is in total contrast to a couple of days ago when it was snowing and absolutely freezing.

The office was very quiet today. In some ways that was good as I had loads to do, and needed some peace. The morning just disappeared, and I was about to pop out for some fresh air at around 1pm, when I realised I was meant to be at an all staff session. 

I joined it, and hoped it would finish early. In fact it over ran. At just after 2pm I headed out for a quick walk, only to find it was raining. It had been lovely and sunny at 1pm. I had a very uninspired walk around the St James’ centre, but at least it was dry. I then headed back to work and got stuck into more work.

When I got home tonight, I discovered evidence that BB must have been home briefly before he went to rugby training. I then cobbled a quick chicken and bean stew together for tea.

Later I walked whilst listening to two more episodes of Classic Scottish Albums, Orange Juice and Texas. Later I finished watching Amandaland.

The sky was dark  blue when I left the office tonight. Quite a contrast to the sky in yesterday’s blip.
