I met up with the Horrigans today at Floors Castle.

Lovelier than lovely. And it seems it isn't just Vik who brings the rain to Kelso: ALL my visitors bring rain to Kelso. Aunty Mim is visiting on Wednesday, so there is a little advance warning...

I forgot my memory card, the jar of tayberry & redcurrant jam I'd labelled specially this morning and the loaf of bread I'd made for them. There's no hope for me... I'm blaming sleep deprivation. For some reason 2-5am is wide awake time. Not wide awake enough to do any useful reading, but wide awake enough to not be able to sleep. It is vexing and perplexing in equal measure.
