Vetch...
also known as Crownvetch (Securigera varia) is now in bud and covering the mountain trails. It creeps along the ground, is lush and vine-like and used by the farmers to help prevent soil erosion. The flowers are really pretty and about 2 cms when opened (see extras). Thanks for hosting FF as ever Biker Bear.

It's been misty and quite dull today with low cloud filling the valley below.  This is ideal for outside work and clearing the immediate land around the house. I've had a productive day with my hoe and rake which I really enjoy, as well as preparing the pots and troughs on the patio for geraniums which will last well into the summer.
