Shopping in Fenwick's food hall

I squeezed in a little shopping during my trip to Newcastle today. On my way to Mummy hazelh's care home from Newcastle Central I called into Fenwick's food hall. On my way back to the station, I stopped at one of the four branches of Greggs that I pass along the route. The purchases from these two shops will be revealed on Monday.

I also popped into a charity shop on my way home and bought a (never worn?) pale green 90% cashmere/10% silk pashmina for... [wait for it]... £2!

At the care home, Mummy hazelh and I read the Hexham Courant, knitted, and worked our way through a few more of the letters that she sent to me in France in 1982. We also attended a meeting for residents at the care home and their relatives. It was interesting to meet some other daughters there, one of whom told me that she already knows my not-so-little sister.

Exercise today: walking (21,934 steps).
