Pinky purple sunrise
From my exercise bike this morning, I could tell that there was a great sunrise emerging over the city. I paused my training to capture this shot outside from our shared garden. The colour really was amazing.
It's been another sociable day. This morning Laura B came over with my Auntie Sadie blanket. She has restored it for me over the past few months, having collected it last year on 30th March. It looks great now that all the holes are mended. We chatted for a couple of hours over tea, biscuits, and scones. Our main topic of conversation was our shared experience of demented parents and care homes.
As soon as Laura B left, Mr hazelh and I trotted up to town to meet Bella at the portrait gallery for lunch in the newly refurbished café.
Afterwards I came home to work and Mummy hazelh admin, and a few household tasks. These included confirming that we have reached the end of the road as far the sale of our items at auction is concerned, and Mr hazelh and I have booked a few days away for my birthday next month.
Exercise today: 1 hour on the exercise bike; small amount of walking (8,263 steps).
