Shades of Gray
On cold, gusty winter days, our garden is full of Dark-eyed juncos, a member of the sparrow family. They made a soft trilling sound which is quite distinctive and has come, for me, to be one of the enduring sounds of winter. So as I huddled outside in my hide for a brief period today, I enjoyed the serenade with a backdrop of chip notes from the other usual winter visitors. Too bad the wind kept trying to grab my hide!
An uneventful day other than reaching out to a local tattoo artist to see if I can make an appointment to get some ink. I'll leave you wondering about that other than to say it has been in the planning stages for quite a while,
Shrimp and "grits" tonight for dinner - although the grits are actually riced cauliflower making them very healthy in addition to being tasty.
