Mrs Bullfinch

One of my favourite garden birds is the bullfinch. Our resident pair were munching away at the bird feeder this morning but late afternoon I spotted Mrs Bullfinch by herself in the tree. She has such beautiful colouring she had to be my blip despite the slight out of focus in the photograph. She also appeared during a spell of sunshine which was very welcome after the thunder, lightning, rain and hail of earlier in the day.
