Driving home in the rain

I had made no attempt to find a blip during the day today as I was going to the opera tonight and planned to take a photo of the performers at the curtain call. The pre-show talk was informative and a nice way to start the evening, the two speakers had so much enthusiasm about the performance to come. Sadly sitting through the first two acts, we did not feel the same way and decided to leave at the interval. So after a drive home in the rain we got in just after 9pm instead of after 10pm, definitely a benefit.
P.S. (added next morning), I don’t mean to give the impression that there was anything wrong with the performance, it just wasn’t for us, we only go to the opera occasionally and I chose the wrong one this time.
