Waiting his turn

This Cape Weaver was in the queue for the bird feeder. I love the activity that I can watch from my study window - it's never ending and the birdsong is always a joy to hear.
It's been a hot day and I am waiting for the cooler late afternoon to go to the shops. I seem to have run out of essential items.
No Friday golf tomorrow as there is a SA Amateur tournament being played there. They have had a true feeling of playing in strong wind, hot weather, and there is some rain forecast for tomorrow.
And with that the weekend is nearly here again.
