new visitor

The peach tree is full of activity this morning! The house finches are squabbling more than usual, a squirrel is shaking things up by going out to the tippy ends of the branches looking for fruit, and a downy woodpecker is hammering away looking for insects. But in the midst of all that, I heard a call I had not heard before...and discovered a new visitor!
Here is the first black-headed grosbeak I have seen this season.
