Will it ever flower?

This camellia has had buds for weeks but they still haven’t opened.

I felt weary today but carried on with the Colombia book.

Ella’s parcel saga continues. Last week it was said twice to be out for delivery but they had been unable to do so. (We don’t believe the driver tried as we were at home). On Sunday they said to give them 3 days. On contacting today they now say it has been lost in transit. We have re-ordered and have asked it to sent to Ella’s address.

We are off in the train tomorrow and I’m taking a cabin-luggage little case. Feeling very proud of my minimalism!

I’m reading “Funny Weather - Art in an Emergency” by Olivia Laing. Very much my kind of book.
