Family Day: when one is allowed to do nothing
Unless, of course, one is Mrs. Ottawacker, who was up early shovelling snow, while I was still in my dressing gown, making coffee.
But, it was a nice, quiet day on the whole, with no hazardous trips downtown to attend soundpainting festivals, punctuated, late afternoon, by Ottawacker Jr.’s invitation of a friend. Andy showed up around 5, stayed for dinner and was picked up around 8. Other than that, we spent the day en famille, either doing little of great import or helping Ottawacker Jr. prepare for his French homonyms test tomorrow. A surprising amount of time was spent, once again, removing snow. A brief call via Skype with I&G in Victoria. I completed day 5 of the elimination diet (which has, so far, had no effect at all), and that would be a fairly accurate summation of the entire day.
