All Oiled Up

Half a dozen 'coasters' of differing sizes and half a dozen spinning tops were completed this morning.

There was a small library of books taken to the charity shop before a stop at the shop.
Today was my breaking point when it came to the scales at the fruit and veg area. There are 3 scales and never are all three working. Quite often all three are broken. Today they appeared to be working ... until you wanted to weigh and get the label for a leek. Then none of them would recognise a leek, 
I lost the rag ... within sight and earshot of a couple of the management apparently! They seemed to know that there was a problem with the system and promised to look into it........ Yeah! - Right!
When we got to the checkouts ......... they refused to recognise a leek!!!!!!
The assistant elected to give it to us for free.
It may have been something to do with the steam coming out of my ears.

SWMBO was out to the cinema with Bags this evening, so I went back out to the lathe and made a bowl with the other bit of Burr Elm I posted on the 10th.
It is yet to be photographed.
