Ticking over

 I'm revisiting a subject I photographed just under a week ago... the chest infection is keeping me within fairly narrow limits.  So it's another shot of the Hammamellis in the front garden.  There is some pleasure to be had in looking closely at the intricate blooms: tightly-curled buds at first, and then the long spidery petals with a burst of red at the centre.
I've recovered enough energy to want to do things, but not quite enough to actually do any of them :-) So it's continued rest for the moment. And keep taking the tablets.
