Pressure? What's pressure?
Pressure? Nah, he was just thinking!
We were meeting many of the children in various villages from outside Dakar, Senegal at a park. The media was there and conducted an interview with this young man.
Young and in front of a large group of unknown foreigners, this fellow had a microphone stuck in his face and with the interviewer's voice booming across the whole park, was asked 'what do you dream of being?'
As you can tell .... there was some hesitation. Actually there was a lot of hesitation! Just about the time that everyone began to think he was just too shy to speak, he tugged on the shirt of his interpreter (on his left) and whispered in his ear for a long, long time.
The interpreter finally smiled and gave the young man's answer to the question as follows:
"Before I participated in the programs here, I thought dreams were just something that happened when you were asleep at night. Now I know they are much more than that. My dream is that I will be the President of Senegal."
Not a bad dream!
