Tiny Tuesday
Today’s challenge is Fruit or Vegetables thanks Cathy.
I was cooking some soup this morning and liked the colour of this red capsicum. I used the ham bone we had for Christmas but it was too long for the pot. I transferred everything to another pot and it didn’t fit in it either. I was heading out to meet C for a mentoring session and left the heat off while I was gone. Bob took over and when I came back everything was broken up enough to fit and it was bubbling away nicely. We had some for lunch which was yummy. I have put 5 containers in the fridge for later on in the week. I find soup the easiest way to get my quota of veggies in for the day. I wouldn’t say I love vegetables but know they are the most important thing to keep you healthy.
I enjoy my mentoring sessions. We went down to the riverbank and sat on a chair with some take away coffees. Much more peaceful than in a noisy cafe. I am always honoured she chose me to be her mentor, I was her manager before I left work. I feel I can support her in her new roles now.
I did a few household jobs and short walk (while chatting to Isbi). Plus 15 minutes of garden work. All in all a good day trying to keep moving while I can.
