Thank you for all the comments yesterday. Today has been slightly better, although I am still a bit out of my body.

The Epley Manoeuvre is working. It seems quite a few Blippers know all about it. BPPV is quite a common problem, which I'd never heard of until now. The GP clinic sees 8 or 9 new cases a month.
