Scarlet Elf Cup

We went to two bird reserves today. The first one was near Southport, where we had breakfast and the second was near Rufford, where we had lunch. We also looked at some birds!

Two walks with Bramble and I spotted some bright little fungi, which I snapped.
These are bright beauties are Scarlet Elf Cup fungi and about 2 cms across.
