Bob Hat Bobbing

We went for a long walk on Formby beach today, and we got some sunshine later on, and no rain all day, which was a pleasant surprise. 

Along the beach somebody had thoughtfully hung up this nice looking hat that had presumably been dropped by someone. It was bobbing in the wind.

We parked on the National Trust car park that is due to undergo some massive changes from May. They are planning to remove tons/tonnes of building materials that have been dumped there previously.  The intention is to allow the dunes to operate more naturally, and to develop more habitats for wildlife.  The building rubble stops this happening, and will be used to create a new car park further inland.
