Frosty Walk and Doggy School

This morning we had two walks, one early and one later around 10:30. Reason being  was Ziggy had a grooming appointment but the groomer contacted me to cancel as she had a sickness bug.
He's rebooked for Tuesday 25 February.
Both Jonty and Foxy loved going to doggy school, Jonty more so. You just had to say the words and he would dash off to the front door waiting to get into the car.
This was Ziggy's first time, I don't think he'd been to obedience training before as he doesn't Sit, Down, Close, without some serious encouragement. Having said that, the past few days I have been getting him to sit and he did remarkably well this evening. an hour is a long time but the dogs do enjoy it. The club (STONEHOUSE DOG TRAINING CLUB - HOME > Contact) is thriving and the secretary told me, this evening, that it is mainly due to the website that I created and manage. Most new members come via the website, some by word of mouth which I hope I'm also responsible for as I often mention it to people when I'm walking, even when I am without a dog!
He is good at recalls too. I just call his name and he comes racing to me. I think he's going to do well.
Must stop calling him Foxy though, I did it about 5 times this evening and even the instructor, who new Jonty and Foxy very well, corrected me.
P.S. this was the first time I'd let him off the lead, he was good as gold.
