Water leak

A frosty morning cycle to town.  Just round the corner from our house there was a water leak.  Not good as there were puddles which had frozen and water was covering the whole road.

I carried on to town got my shopping done and rang the number I have for water leaks.  Thankfully it had already been reported.  One never can tell.  I stressed that another sub-zero evening would make the road dangerous.

I expected it not to be dealt with for a couple of days but on our second dog walk in the afternoon it was being sorted.  Mr said a massive hole was being dug.

Later saw a post on Facebook stating that 200 homes in that area were without water.  Water leaks in a water stressed city is definitely not good news.
