Fog on the Summit Road

My route home would normally take me along the causeway and shoreline, but this morning I thought I'd come out above the fog if I drove up onto the Summit Rd and then down into Sumner. I couldn't have been more wrong. The higher I got the thicker the fog, until I was just crawling along with my fog lights on.

There were some eerie looking trees though . . . . .

I've heard that Christchurch airport has been closed for some of the day - I'm not surprised!
