Celebrating

The sun shining right through the house.

It doesn't happen often as the house faces the wrong way!   Just for a few weeks twice a year, the setting sun lights up the whole living room which runs front to back of the bungalow.  So here's the sunlight catching my pottery on the east facing side of the house.   It was the only five minutes of sun I saw all day.

A nice, if cold walk with Meg, M and Oscar this morning then glazing at  pottery until lunch time.   An afternoon of assorted chores and admin then an evening sorting through my collection of tender gesneriads.   The rhizomes need repotting each year.  Today was harvest day.  Next the post need washing and then I will replant those I am keeping.  The remainder will be up for sale shortly.
