Space for Nature
Not the best ever photo! But, chosen to remind me of the excellent mini conference we attended today at Hampshire & Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust's Swanwick Nature Reserve. The Space for Nature event was for people involved with community wildlife groups (under the "Wilder" banner).M and I went to represent our local wildlife group. Good to meet like- minded folk and share ideas about engaging with people and encouraging them to spend more time enjoying the natural world.
It was held in the study centre /classroom, which has a bird feeding station directly outside a large window. It was being visited by hungry birds all day. There were loads of blue tits, a few great tits, a few coal tits (one included here), and even some marsh tits, as well as nuthatches.
