Pigeon

Our house is 2 years old, the previous owners did nothing to the garden. It is just a rectangle of grass surrounded by fences. 
I put out our old bird house and hung a few feeders on it in January. The first visitor was today, a large wood pigeon, I was quite keen to record the event without scaring him/her off so I was laid out on my belly in the dining room looking through the blinds and french windows. 
Pigeons don't get a lot of love but they are quite colourful and comical in their ways, a welcome visitor.
