of a Full On week!

Funny week what with Ben's behaviour; full on work for Mr KCNQ2Haiku and grotty cold making its presence felt.  Ben was supposed to have carers today but he's still full of it, so yesterday afternoon I called to cancel them.  I felt I made myself clear.. but still one of the carers turned up at the door this morning :-(  Not my fault but I still felt really guilty sending her away.  Anyway, we were supposed to be seeing family in Manchester today, so Mr KCNQ2Haiku took one for the team and stayed home with Ben, in order to let me go <3 Thank you!  I met up with my Mum, Step-Dad, a cousin and his girlfriend.  It's such a joy to be out with loved ones without the pressure of being in charge of someone, I may have been a bit giddy!  We had brunch in a lovely cafe and wandered around the Northern Quarter, browsing in arty shops and ended up in the Craft and Design Centre.  Much, much fun.  I was sad to leave them behind but I was gratefully received back into the fold at home, so the return to earth wasn't too jarring!  Mr KCNQ2Haiku has now gone to the cinema and Ben has been calm, so we'll chalk today up as a win.  Nice end to the week.
