Oh Crêpe!

Woke up to another glorious day. Don't know why I bother blow drying my hair straight as within 5 minutes it's curling.

Too hot to do much in the earlier part of the day but by mid afternoon D, A and I were ready to venture out to La Tranche-sur-Mer, (a small coastal town about half a hour away which meant half an hour in the air conditioned car. Bliss!

The town was all but deserted when we got there as I suspect everyone was on the beach. We wandered for a few minutes then sought refuge in this café / bar where we both had a crepe and an ice cold coke.

Headed back to the holiday house with Alan looking forward to getting in the pool but we were hardly in the door when David disappeared only to re-emerge a while later looking very dicey and feeling Crêpe crap. A very upset stomach put paid to both him and Alan going in the pool. Not good.

He tried to eat some dinner but that wasn't his best idea. He spent the rest of the evening lying in bed feeling miserable whilst I worried and fretted about him and hoped he'd feel better very soon.....especially given our long journey home starting early Friday.

All in all a bit of a Crêpe day!
