Parera/mallard hybrid

There are a number of features that suggest that this bird is a parera/mallard hybrid. Parera features include grey bill, double facial lines, narrow white edgings of speculum. The orange legs (unseen in this photo) are a Mallard feature.

Saw more ducks beside the road today than this month before today. No ducklings.
