Marjorie's ramblings

The new residents

I brought these five from Namibia. They have been waiting to be introduced!

Tonight was the night because my planned blip could not go ahead.

I was expecting Julie to come on Monday, but her sodium was normal this morning and she was discharged this afternoon.

Her friends, Ali and Liz, were visiting her and kindly brought her to me. In the morning, Joan had cleaned through the house and I had ironed and sorted the laundry. I had a short nap before a Julie arrived.

She is very mobile despite the knee replacement and she can already bend her knee to 90 degrees. The confusion has improved, but it is hard for her to take in new information. It is always discombobulating when you are discharged from hospital.

We watched Death in Paradise before she went to bed and I won’t be long afterwards.

I am changing the cats to a new food. There have been objections tonight which I am mainly ignoring. It should be good for them and is expensive so they need to eat up. (Only cat lovers will understand how tricky this might be to achieve!)
