Snowdrops
Went with a good friend for a very pleasant walk from New Abbey along the Solway Shore and back today. Weather was cold and bright; a pretty decent day for Scotland in February!
In one of the wee bits of woodland, we came across a lot of snowdrops in their absolute pomp. They carpeted much of the area and really were like some minor celebrity shouting out to be photographed.
Having posted a "straight" shot to get my blipping underway, here's one with a bit of intentional camera movement. Other than a little decrease of the overall brightness and a slight increase in saturation, this is pretty much what came out of the camera.
