Best foot forward...

What better day to do so.. 
I had a bit of a deeper clean of the kitchen (part of it today) and while I was doing that found the crumb tray from the toaster hadn't been looked at in a while. I popped all the crumbs out for the birds and intriguingly some chaffinch turned up. We never really see chaffinch here so it was quite a surprise. They didn't attempt to visit the hanging feeder with mixed seed but instead were happy with breadcrumbs.. here is Mr Chaff putting his best foot forward having enjoyed the crumbs
Another grey old day.. I really would like some light to add drama to still life indoors.. sadly I am not that inspired to paint when there is no natural light so I did a drawing instead today.. perhaps it will turn into a painting on another day.
