Pohara sunset

Running late. A leisurely but full day starting with a morning swim on Pohara beach and ending with a delightful sunset ramble on the same. In between we lunched with Joe, mooched around Takaka ( I visited the very good library and got out some books for me and Esme) and enjoyed a delicious supper together - Himself whipped up and excellent risotto. Feeling rather settled!
Last night I ventured out onto our verandah at about 10pm to view the sky and was astonished to see the starlink satellites travelling serenely overhead - what a sight. I also saw a shooting star and down on the beach the full moon drummers were hard at it.
I've just wandered out again- a clear and starry night and a big fat moon has just arisen. No drummers.
