How it works - electric toothbrush

This toothbrush unit is about 10 years old. It finally stopped working last week. Today our local 10 year old (his hands!) was as intrigued as I was to see all the electronics and gearing in this design. I will recycle this unit. Those metals will have an increasing price I guess as more and more tariffs are being deployed! Another sub optimal chilly cloudy day. A good day for decluttering my home office. I even managed to get my ancient 27” iMac working again!
