Two Log Fires

On yet another grey drizzly cheerless day it was great to escape to a Cotswold pub for a lovely lunch with an old friend. The company and food was as good as ever. The pub is very popular and doing a roaring trade even on a Tuesday! Many local pubs restrict lunchtime opening these days. Despite plentiful supplies of seasoned logs the ancient stonewalled public house was not warm enough to take off our coats! So picky of me!
