Too Late!

In the mornings I see flowers on the maranta in the bathroom and think "I should blip one of those!" That's just what I wanted to do tonight BUT, I had forgotten that the leaves would fold up prayer-style and the flowers would die.

Too bad! I had no other ideas today so the folded up maranta with dead flowers gets blipped.

Usually in winter this old plant (from the last millenium) dies back, sometimes completely. It was on the decline again this winter but, as I was throwing out some old cola, I gave it a drink. I'd heard it was good for them. I said nothing!

Within a week new leaves and flowers were appearing and the plant was looking great.
