I was happy to receive this photo this afternoon. Our eldest daughter has not been too good recently and it doesn’t help when you have two teenagers in the house who are getting anxious about forthcoming important exams and assessments. For her birthday in January we gave her vouchers for bread making classes at a great bakery in London.

Today she used one on a half day of French bread and this is one result. She had a lovely time - just what she needed - and sent this to say thank you. She has another booked for next month.

And, as an extra, is the Longlist for the Women’s Prize for Non-Fiction. I will say more about this tomorrow when I have had a think about it. It’s a great list - some interesting sounding books.
