Up the Towers

Despite being really tired I woke in the middle of the night and could not get back to sleep again, even my book and Mindful Mix failed to put me over.

Sop up early to do some tidying, some planning for Bali and some cooking.  Then to HK where the girls wee doing chores, mainly mopping.  I helped get rid of the recycling and with cleaning the 'powder room'.  There was time after that for a couple of hours in the pool, though it did get cloudy, before lunch.

After that I came back to GK and rested. It was hot.  Then to Jaya for pasta, picked up the girls and came back to cook tea.  It would have been better if I had just done it in HK.  

We were on the clock, had to be at KLCC for 7.45.Well an Amelia being difficult, a Grab deriver who got slightly lost and awful traffic meant that was never going to happen.  We finally arrived 30 minutes late but it seemed not to matter and we still went up the Towers. 

I think the girls enjoyed it but being night you couldn't see much, although I could make out the Istana Negara and the weird flats beside Publika with the outside neon lights. 

Then we went to see the musical fountain show in KLCC Park.  It was amazing and of course so warm.  many pictures, and videos were taken.

We finally got back at 10.30 and now the girls have had ice cream and a bath and are in bed and I'm heading that way, if only on the sofa.

There were more fireworks tonight, last night of Chinese New Year and a full moon.
