Google maps - no thanks

According to his decree, it’s now to be called the Gulf of America. For the moment that’s only in USA but Google UK shows both. What nonsense. Some US friends have been able to edit it back but I don’t know how.

I was supposed to be going to the cinema to see Maria with Chris this afternoon but I have developed a dodgy tummy to go with the nighttime cough. The cough disappears in the day but so far not the need to be adjacent to the avocado room. Some of the stitching group were nervous about the cough so Carey is going to host tomorrow instead of me. I don’t think I have enough chairs for them all anyway.

Mr C paid extra to have Ella’s birthday hoodie arrive yesterday but it’s still not here. Neither is the Taylor Swift cake topper.

#2 daughter loaned me a nice easy read which is perfect for today. A Fortunate Woman by Polly Morland. I’ll finish it soon.
