Proud

Started the day in North Yorkshire with another 4 mile pre breakfast trek, much hillier than yesterday.

Drove south after breakfast and a brief chat with my niece who has come up for the day and night, shame it clashed with me not being there. Had a brief stop at Tesco on the outskirts of York to pick up some teabags that I like, only to find they didn’t have any!

The reason for travelling down today was to watch the first night of Charlotte’s school production of Legally Blonde. I’ve never seen it before, but I really enjoyed it. Only knew a couple of people in it, two of Charlotte’s friends. Very proud of her of course, she continues to throw herself into as much as she can.

I wish I could be here for closing night on Thursday but it’s unfortunate timing. At least three of her good friends are going along to support her.

Three positives:
1) another good walk this morning
2) got to see the show, Charlotte’s last school production
3) it’s nice to have an evening at home, away from the changing surgical stockings and being woken up by the dog, much as I love them both!
