Today is the Saltersgate Country Show – a grand family event for all.
Mr Hilton went with his friend Callum, and he performed very well in the horse classes, gaining one 1st, one 3rd and two 4th places. All that on one haynet and a drink of water !
Liz won a prize for her Sloe Gin so I might give that a try tonight.
These are the winning decorated buns – dressed up as chickens.

Boro – well they kept up their record and lost their first game of the new football season !
