WITH A SONG IN MY HEART

This was our exercise today at watercolour pencils class.
The photo on the left is not good as I took it in a hurry so I could pay attention to what Amanda was saying. Everybody enjoyed doing it and the result were all really good and all so different.
This morning Pip and Steve had to come a different way to collect me as there was a bad accident in Hellifield involving two cars. Amazingly I don’t think anyone was badly hurt but at least one car looks to be a write off.
Thank heavens there wasn’t one of the many lorries involved.
When I came home Frank had made lovely soup.
I have felt cold all day and had a nap under a blanket, I thought I was getting a temperature but it isn’t raised as yet.
I was watching Bernie Sanders on YouTube as it came on after the news and then another one with John Kennedy, (a republican who I didn’t know of) I wouldn’t normally watch these things as I try to keep news items to the minimum these days. But honestly, there are so many things I didn’t know about. We don’t know a fraction of what goes on or the amount of dollars involved.
It’s difficult when one has a thirst for knowledge but doesn’t want to be burdened by the political state of the world.
I’m going to watch Call the Midwife now ;-)
Hope you all had a good day. Keep cosy.
Goodnight ;-) X
