Another grey, cold and sometimes wet day. Caught the bus into town this morning to meet J at the travel agent to plan an autumn trip to Italy. Got off at a different stop and walked down these covered steps to get to the bottom part of town.
Our focus was going to be Pompeii and then the Amalfi coast but we realised we could also go to Rome so in the end decided on a 3 nights in Rome and 3 in Naples with day trips to Pompeii and Heracleum. We were there for 2 hours( a lot longer than I was expecting) so I had to hurry home to get back for the electrician who was coming to change one of the switches in the kitchen. Whilst he was with me he checked over my appliances etc as a switch had tripped whilst the cleaners were there. All was well so we decided it was most likely to be their vacuum cleaner . Had a late lunch after he’d gone, did some financial admin and walked up to m and s for some fruit. My hand starts to ache in the afternoon so I tend to stop doing things a bit earlier.
